Final exhibition in Salzburg, Austria

This is the final exhibition of Pascal Petignat's course at the Summer Academy of Fine Arts.

Our task was to create a project from scratch within the walls of an 11th-century fortress in Salzburg.

But people are not blank slates — we arrived here with our own baggage of memories, struggles, and dreams, and every project born here was shaped both by the present moment and the thoughts we carried within.

I created my cyanotype project Seams on Blue about my father who passed too soon. This was the pain I worked with here.

Each of the participants passed through the Portal, and none of us will ever be the same again…
